The exercises groove, it's different for everyone, I have one friend who gets into their groove with the recumbent bike, another friend has a great groove when she goes running, for me it's both on the cross trainer and if not at the gym while while I'm walking or hiking. If your unsure of how to find your rhythm, one of the best ways is to make a play list of really upbeat fast, paced tunes, start in one place whether it's the treadmill or the bike and go for 10 minutes to start. If you notice your pace lagging or your waiting impatiently for 10 minutes to be up that exercises is not for you. It's all about trial and error, that doesn't mean that you should only do that one particular exercises, it just means that it's the one you can do the most of.
